Warehouse Manager

£45,000 (£50-£55K OTE)

A growing brand management and distributor of premium appliances are looking for a Warehouse Manager to come in spearhead the warehouse operation. This offers an exciting opportunity to work in an established warehouse team, focused on delivering best-in-class service to a broad customer base, in a variety of product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving and dispatching stock, storage and inventory control
• Continuous review of warehouse processes to maximise efficiency and adapt for an evolving product portfolio
• Take a lead on projects to advance the capabilities of our warehouse operation
• Play key role in scoping and implementing our new WMS
• Work with Operations Team Leader and Logistics Manager to ensure all customer SLA’s are adhered to in all warehouse areas; goods in, goods out, inventory and returns
• Implement KPI system and monitor effectively
• Responsible for stock integrity, implementing regular stock checks as well as planning the annual stock take process
• Lead site H&S, with continuous improvements and adherence to relevant regulations
• Site responsible, ensure our building, security and fire systems are maintained to the highest standards
• Develop and progress team members, in line with company philosophy
• Manage budgets, costs, and resource allocation

Key Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working with warehouse management systems preferred
• Experience in working with dangerous goods preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills

Working Hours: 

37.5 hours per week
