You will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency while upholding the highest health & safety standards across the site for the facility in a timely fashion with a go-live fast approaching.Operating within a dedicated customer facility in excess of 600,000 sq. ft. working to a site wide rotating shift pattern AM & Nights 4 on 4 off, with a projected headcount of 1,000 in peak periods.The RoleThe Warehouse MHE Trainer (06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00) Rotating 4 On 4 Off role will play a critical role in designing, maintaining and leading all site based activity across what will be a key UK DC operation.This position is a truly exciting opportunity for an experienced MHE professional to be at the forefront of a rapidly expanding organisation.Key Responsibilities:Operational Duties:Carry out warehouse tasks (as trained) to support the smooth flow of stock from receipt through to dispatchOperate MHE equipment safely and efficiently in line with site proceduresTraining & Safety Responsibilities:Ensure all site training requirements are completed and accurately recorded in line with company policyDeliver MHE inductions for new operativesCoach, mentor, and retrain MHE Operatives to maintain high skill levels and reduce riskMonitor and assess operator competence, ensuring standards are consistently metEnsure refresher training is completed within required timeframesIdentify hazards and implement effective control measuresSupport and contribute to MHE-related accident investigationsAssist in the creation and review of MHE risk assessmentsDeliver post-incident training and reassessments where requiredActively promote and lead a strong Health & Safety culture on siteThe CandidateThe successful candidate for the Warehouse MHE Trainer (06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00) Rotating 4 On 4 Off opportunity will have the following skills and experiences:A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Background - Essential ITSSAR or RTITB accredited MHE Trainer - Essential Strong understanding of warehouse operations and processes - Essential Excellent awareness of health & safety, with the confidence to challenge unsafe practices - Essential Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) - Essential High level of diligence and attention to detail - Essential Strong leadership and team coordination skills - Essential.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Essential.Proven 3PL Warehousing experience required - Advantageous.
