Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager
Location: Dunstable Distribution Centre
Reports to: Assistant Distribution Centre Manager
Department: Logistics / Supply Chain

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse OperationsManager with drive, passion, and resilience to lead key logistics functionsincluding Goods In and Goods Out, FLT, RRU, Assembly, Stock Maintenance, andReplenishment. You will manage cross-functional teams across all shifts,ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved whiledriving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
A critical requirement for this role is strong people andperformance management capability. You will be accountable for settingclear expectations, developing high-performing individuals and teams, andconfidently addressing underperformance through effective coaching, correctiveaction, and formal performance management processes where required.

Key Responsibilities:
Chair or support key meetings including H&S briefings,operational updates, and employee forums.
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including Goods In & Goods out,FLT, RRU, Dispatch, Loading/unloading and Assembly.
Drive performance through KPI tracking, cost control, and continuousimprovement.
Develop team capability through coaching, performance reviews, and successionplanning.
Collaborate with senior managers and cross-functional teams to align onwarehouse strategies and logistics goals.
Ensure health and safety compliance across all warehouse activities.
Maintain stock accuracy, lead PI (Perpetual Inventory) processes, and meetauditor requirements.
Monitor site facilities, labour planning, and supplier contracts foroperational efficiency.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance warehouseproductivity and customer satisfaction.

Key Skills & Experience:
Demonstrableexperience managing both high performance and underperformance in a fast-pacedoperational environment
Proven leadership in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Experience in driving cost efficiency, team performance, and operationalimprovements.
Ability to manage resources effectively across multiple teams and shifts.
Solid understanding of warehouse management systems and supply chainoperations.
Demonstrated success in motivating teams and managing change.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:
Promote a safety-first culture across all warehouse teams.
Comply with health and safety regulations and reporting requirements.

Key Stakeholders:
Internal: Supply Chain, Operations, Category Managers, People Team.
External: Third-party logistics providers, suppliers, consultants.
