DUTIES
Your duties as the Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver include:
Loading and Unloading Deliveries: Safely handling incoming and outgoing goods using appropriate equipment
Forklift Truck Operation: Operating FLT equipment to move, stack and position materials safely
Stock Organisation: Selecting, arranging and storing products to meet internal and external order requirements
Documentation Checks: Verifying delivery paperwork and ensuring accuracy of goods received and dispatched
Health and Safety Compliance: Maintaining a safe working environment at all times within a busy outdoor yard
Manual Handling Activities: Carrying out physical tasks in line with safe working practices
Cross-Department Support: Assisting teams such as painting or picking during staffing shortages
General Yard Duties: Supporting the smooth running and organisation of the yard area
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
Previous experience operating a forklift truck within a yard, warehouse or logistics environment
Valid forklift truck training certification
Experience with loading and unloading deliveries safely
A strong awareness of health and safety procedures
Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
A reliable, proactive and team-focused approach
DESIRABLE
Experience working in an outdoor or industrial yard environment
Experience supporting multiple departments within operations or logistics
Good attention to detail when handling stock and documentation
