Our customers know and trust the Thompsons name and the food safety assurances that enable them to compete in their markets.Job Purpose of Warehouse OperativeThe Warehouse Operative is responsible for assisting in the safe operation of site functions such as Warehouse, Blending shed and Mill holiday cover, and vehicle loading and unloading of raw materials and feeds (bulk & bags) to meet the business needs.Job Tasks for Warehouse OperativePacking and bagging products, including lifting and carrying weights of up to 25kg.Accepting deliveries, safely unloading and correctly storing raw materials and other goods.Picking and loading products onto Company vehicles for delivery and customers own vehicles if collecting.Managing stock rotation of raw materials and bagged feeds.Testing of product samples when necessary.Public weighs using the Company weighbridge.Managing tote bins including emptying tote bin fines when required.Carrying out cleaning and minor repair and maintenance work in the warehouse and other site areas as required.Holiday cover for the Blending shed operator and to assist at peak times.Safe and clean production of animal feed and other Company produce.Safe operation of Company machinery and vehicles.Ensure the correct clothing and appropriate safety devices are worn at all times whilst carrying out your work.Adhoc Mill Support would be required as and when needed.BenefitsFree onsite parkingEmployee discountCycle to work schemeCompany pensionCompany eventsIf you think you have the skills and experience we are looking for as a Warehouse Operative, we would love to hear from you!JBRP1_UKTJ
