Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Picker Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience who are looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. The position involves physical activity, including heavy lifting, and requires a proactive approach to materials handling and stock management.

You could earn £600 per week, paid weekly plus accrued holiday pay (Equivalent to £31,393 per year) + real overtime opportunities.

* Pay per hour is £12.71 + holiday pay

* Paid weekly-47.5 hours per week-

Responsibilities

* Carefully select and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness

* Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols during loading and unloading processes

* Manage shipping and receiving procedures, including documentation and inventory updates using the warehouse management system (WMS)

* Conduct quality control checks on packed items to maintain product standards

* Assist in stocking shelves and organising storage areas for optimal efficiency

* Participate in stock rotation and inventory counts as required

* Ensure the packing area remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations

Skills

* Proven experience in warehouse management, picking & packing, or similar roles

* Strong materials handling skills.

* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping & receiving procedures

* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods

* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for quality control tasks

* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
