We are looking to place an experienced Reach Truck Driver looking to work in the warehouse doing various roles After 3 months, the company can take you on full time, and give you an opportunity to grow. About the Role We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. This role involves handling inbound and outbound cargo, primarily books, ensuring shipments are processed efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, good physical fitness, and a solid understanding of warehouse operations and procedures. Key Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming book packages and pallets, verifying quantities and checking condition. Accurately record goods using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including receipting, put-away, and picking. Prepare and process outbound shipments: pick, pack, label, wrap, and stow cargo for dispatch. Operate forklifts and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) where licensed (e.g., Counterbalance, Reach Truck, PPT). Load and unload lorries and containers safely and efficiently.
