About the Role In this varied and dynamic role, you will provide technical expertise to ensure materials are managed safely, compliantly, and cost-effectively. You'll work across multiple business streams, helping to embed a culture of safety and excellence while delivering solutions that meet commercial and regulatory requirements. Assess and assign efficient processing or treatment routes for various materials

Provide technical evaluation to ensure compliance with permits, legislation, and internal standards

Scope and assess materials for safe transportation, both internally and externally

Offer guidance and advice to sites and external clients on technical and operational matters

Support the development of safe working practices (RAMS) for industrial activities

Prepare reports and documentation as required, ensuring compliance and clarity

About You HNC in Chemistry or a related field

Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor qualification

IOSH qualification

Knowledge of the waste or environmental services industry is advantageous

Strong analytical and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
