As a Wastewater Engineer, youll assess all proposed wastewater designs submitted by clients or consultants, ensuring they meet Last Miles design specifications. You will confirm that designs are fit for purpose and satisfy the requirements of the upstream network operators, as well as Last Mile, from an adoption, ownership, maintenance, and long-term operational perspective. Were looking for the successful candidate to be based at one of our offices, in Stonehouse (Gloucestershire), London, Warrington or Hamilton (Glasgow). Your responsibilities as a Wastewater Engineer: Review customers designs and technical specifications prior to quote issue, ensuring compliance with Wastewater Network Operator, and Last Mile requirements and standards. Provide customers with practical and beneficial solutions to their designs Undertake technical design checks against applicable specifications, including WIRS, identifying risks, noncompliances, and opportunities for improvement.
