Purpose & Scope of the Role As a Civil Design Engineer (Water), you will play a key role in delivering wastewater and clean water network projects across major long-term UK frameworks, including a flagship programme with United Utilities. Working within a multidisciplinary team of engineers, modellers and data specialists, you will contribute to optioneering, outline and detailed design, and the production of construction-ready documentation. The role spans the full project lifecycle, supporting asset management strategies and capital delivery projects that drive improved river health, operational performance and environmental outcomes. Your Impact in this position You will directly influence the delivery of critical water infrastructure, helping to improve resilience, sustainability and service for communities across the UK. Your designs and technical input will support low-carbon, best-value solutions, while your collaboration with clients and stakeholders will ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
