Job Title: Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer Employment Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £38,000 OTE (bonus scheme) + double-time overtime Overview An established water hygiene specialist is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to join its operations team. This is a field-based role offering the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of client sites, ensuring water systems remain compliant, safe, and effectively maintained in line with current legislation and industry best practice. Key Responsibilities Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on domestic and commercial water systems Carrying out water sampling, temperature monitoring, flushing, disinfection, and chemical treatment Completing remedial works including tank cleans and chlorination Ensuring compliance with ACOP L8, HSG274, and associated water hygiene regulations Accurately recording site visits and works completed using internal systems Identifying and reporting potential system risks or non-compliance issues Maintaining a professional presence on client sites across healthcare, education, commercial and industrial environments Supporting junior engineers where required and contributing to a collaborative team culture Candidate Requirements Demonstrable experience within water ...
