Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: East Anglia

Salary: Up to £32,000 per year (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Water Hygiene Engineer to join our team, covering sites across Cambridgeshire through to Norwich, including the Peterborough and Cambridge areas. This role is ideal for someone with previous water hygiene experience who is looking to develop their career within a growing and professional environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping clients remain compliant with current water hygiene regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out temperature monitoring in line with ACOP L8 / HSG 274 control regimes
  • Perform water sampling in preparation for laboratory analysis
  • Conduct shower cleaning and disinfection
  • Complete TMV servicing, calibration, and replacements
  • Carry out Cold Water Storage Tank (CWST) cleans and disinfections
  • Perform CWST and water heater inspections and surveys
  • Accurately record all work completed using company systems
  • Maintain a professional relationship with clients while on site

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Water Hygiene / Legionella control role
  • Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Experience with temperature monitoring, water sampling, and TMV servicing
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites
