We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Water Operative team to join our Water Department! This role involves carrying out essential water mains and service connection work on residential properties. You’ll work as part of a team delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality work to support water infrastructure across the region.
What you’ll be doing
* Carry out water installation and maintenance work in residential properties, including service and main connections.
* Support the safe and efficient delivery of water services, working to agreed standards and procedures.
* Use appropriate tools and equipment to complete tasks such as pipe laying, repairs, and basic excavation.
* Follow job instructions and site plans to ensure accurate and timely completion of works.
* Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and supervisors to provide updates and resolve issues.
* Maintain health and safety standards on site and ensure all work is carried out with minimal disruption to customers.
The Person
Required qualifications and experience
* Water Hygiene certification.
* SHEA Water qualification.
* NCO Water – Mains and/or Services
* Full UK driving licence
