Water Treatment Engineer – Canary Wharf – 36k + Overtime
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Qualification Required: L8 Water Treatment Qualification
We are currently seeking a skilled Water Treatment Engineer to join a critical site in Canary Wharf. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading company in a vital and dynamic industry, maintaining high standards of water treatment on a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting routine water quality monitoring, sampling, and testing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Performing chemical treatments and adjustments to maintain the efficiency and safety of water systems.
* Carrying out Legionella risk assessments and implementing control measures as per L8 guidelines.
* Regular inspection and maintenance of water treatment plant systems, including cooling towers, boilers, and closed systems.
* Ensuring all systems are functioning within legal and environmental requirements, documenting actions and findings.
* Completing and maintaining accurate records of maintenance, water quality checks, and treatments.
* Responding to emergency situations related to water systems and providing timely resolutions.
