Herts Young Mariners Outdoor Activities Instructor (Seasonal) Herts Young Mariners Base is a spring-fed, 29-acre Outdoor Activity Centre in Cheshunt, providing a wide range of water-based and land-based outdoor activities. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced seasonal Outdoor Activities Instructorto join our team. Our programme includes Sailing, Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Canoeing, Raft Building, Powerboating, Climbing, Caving, Orienteering and Problem Solving, delivered to a diverse range of users. We work with schools, youth groups and holiday courses for children, alongside public sessions for both children and adults, including RYA courses. As an Outdoor Activities Instructor, you will lead groups independently across a range of activities, adapting sessions to suit the needs and abilities of each group. You will play an active role in developing new sessions and supporting the growth of our current client base. The role also includes working within the hire centre, hiring equipment such as kayaks and paddleboards, and ensuring a safe, welcoming experience for all users. You will need to be confident working with people, comfortable speaking in front of large groups, and able to deliver excellent customer service.
