Qualifications
1 to 4 years of experience in financial services, ideally Wealth Management
Chartered Wealth Management or Financial Planner qualifications (diploma in financial advice e.g., CII RoS or CISI Capital Markets Programme)
Ongoing competency in Securities/Derivatives (12+ hours) and Retail Clients (4+ hours) through structured CPD
Hold a Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) currently or held it in the past year
Knowledge of Anti‑Money‑Laundering, KYC and Due Diligence requirements
Emotional intelligence: high EQ to navigate sensitive client life events (e.g., retirement or estate planning) with empathy and a solution‑oriented mindset
Previous experience providing wealth management or financial planning advice to high‑net‑worth individuals
Technically proficient across investments, pensions, retirement, protection, estate planning, tax‑efficient structures, and cash‑flow modelling
Able to lead client meetings, formulate compliant advice, and prepare suitability reports
Experience of working with professional introducers, particularly accountants
Commercial and pro‑active from a sales and marketing perspective, and able to convert prospects into profitable clients
Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Educated to a degree level

Responsibilities
Sales activity planning, including reviewing existing client files to identify sales opportunities.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Responsible for client visits, potentially including presentations to groups of clients (accompanied by a certificated investment manager, where appropriate).
Responsible for growing assets from existing clients and new clients.
Pro‑actively analyse the client’s business/circumstances to determine the suitability of the company's solutions for the client’s requirements.
Improve the client’s overall experience with the company, by delivering reliable administrative support and customer service.
Resolve client queries.
Produce file notes after all client meetings, summarising any additional actions required, including follow‑up calls.
Contribute to the development of new products and services, based on client feedback.
Manage and present new business pitches.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry regulations, organisational policies and professional codes.
Perform other activities as the business may reasonably require.
