Our client is a specialist web agency dedicated to building clean, fast, and effective WordPress websites powered primarily by the Divi Theme & Builder.
Role Overview
As a Web Designer / WordPress & Divi Specialist, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving client websites using WordPress, with a strong emphasis on Divi. You will work closely with our project team to bring designs and concepts to life and ensure each site is well‑structured, responsive, and user‑friendly.
If you enjoy building websites, experimenting with layouts, fine‑tuning styling, and solving small technical problems along the way, this role will suit you perfectly.
Key Responsibilities
* Build new websites using WordPress & Divi, following provided designs or creative briefs
* Customise Divi layouts, theme builder templates, and global styles
* Modify or write small snippets of PHP, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript when required
* Work with WooCommerce and ecommerce plugins (advantageous but not essential)
* Optimise websites for performance, SEO fundamentals, and responsive behaviour
* Troubleshoot layout issues, plugin conflicts, and theme-related bugs
* Support ongoing maintenance, updates, and enhancements for existing client sites
* Collaborate with project managers, designers, and content creators to deliver polished, on‑brand solutions
Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re looking for someone who:
Must‑have
* Has a genuine passion for building websites
* Strong working knowledge of WordPress & Divi (theme builder, layouts, global design system)
* Understands core web standards: HTML, CSS, and basic PHP
* Can troubleshoot and problem‑solve with curiosity and independence
* Cares about clean structure, good UI/UX, and responsive layouts
* Driving licence and car to travel to and from office
Nice‑to‑have
* Experience with additional page builders: Elementor, Bricks, WPBakery, etc.
* Understanding of WooCommerce setup/management
* Familiarity with SEO best practices
* Experience working in an agency environment
