The Opportunity

We have a new vacancy for a Weighbridge Operator to join our production team at our Kemsford quarry.

The primary role of the Weighbridge Operator is to oversee the weighbridge
operation with accountability for the dispatch of products and associated paperwork. This will include managing the yard stocks and operations. The role will also include, but is not limited to, administrative duties, raising and managing purchase orders, controlling raw material orders, investigating variances, undertaking month end duties and general administrative tasks. The role is Mon to Fri, 7AM till 5PM (Start time is flexible as it is 35 hrs a week)

• Operating the weighbridge, ensuring all vehicles are accurately weighed in and out.
• Maintaining accurate records of weights and measures for reporting and compliance purposes

Customer and Client Communication-

• Interact with customers and haulage drivers, offering outstanding service and assistance.
• Coordinating with site operations to ensure smooth traffic flow and compliance with site safety regulations.
• Processing and management of weighbridge data, and preparation of weighbridge tickets.
• Assisting in the implementation of site health and safety policies.
• Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the weighbridge and associated systems.

• Competent using a workplace PC, with google applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relations with others.
