A large, privately owned waste management company is looking for a Weighbridge Operator to join the team on the Farnham site. Reporting to the Site Manager, the Weighbridge Operator is responsible for correctly recording all incoming and outgoing vehicles on the weighbridge system and their overall compliance with site and safety regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and record all incoming and outgoing vehicle movements via the weighbridge systemEnsure that all drivers are conversant and compliant with site and safety regulations at all timesProduction of routine reports in relation to the Depot operations and material inputs and outputsEnsure that general housekeeping standards are maintained to the highest level at all timesReport all accidents and incidents in accordance with company rules, undertaking specific investigations as appropriateWhat we're looking forGood working knowledge of the waste, aggregates and recycling industriesGood working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment associated to the site permit(s)Good working knowledge and experience of associated plant and machineryEffective communication (verbal and written) and organisational skills in order to professionally interact with colleagues and internal customers face to face and over the phoneCommitment to delivering service excellenceAttention to detailHours Monday to Friday 7am-5pm (1Hour lunch break)What's on OfferA competitive hourly ratePension SchemeLife assurance (2 x Salary)Health cash plan28 days holiday (including bank holidays)Training & development opportunitiesSupportive team with free company social eventsJBRP1_UKTJ
