Welder / Fabricator Experienced
Newton Abbot, Devon

Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent (Day shift)

£33,500 £38,500 DOE basic

We Are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join a busy and well-established engineering workshop due to continued growth and increased project demand.

This is a workshop-based role working as part of a skilled and supportive fabrication team, producing high-quality structural steel and plate work to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • MIG/MAG welding on structural steel and plate work
  • Fabrication, assembly and preparation of components
  • Working confidently from engineering drawings
  • Supporting larger fabrication builds within the workshop team
  • Ensuring accuracy, quality and safety throughout production

Person Specification

  • Proven MIG/MAG welding experience
  • Strong fabrication background within structural steel, plate work or heavy fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Reliable, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
  • Welding coding beneficial but not essential

Additional Information

Permanent, full-time role within a stable and growing business

Day shift: 07:00 15:30

Overtime available with realistic OTE up to £50k
