The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a well-established company based in West Bromwich. This role involves working on water pipe systems, carrying out high-quality fabrication and welding to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and pipework layouts Measure, cut, and shape metal pipes to precise specifications Assemble pipe sections, fittings, valves, and supports Carry out welding using MIG, TIG, and MMA (arc) techniques Ensure all welds are strong, accurate, and leak-proof Install and align pipe systems both in the workshop and on-site Maintain high standards of quality and safety at all timesCandidate Requirements
Proven experience in welding and fabrication Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, and MMA (arc) welding processes Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and pipe schematics Experience working with pipe systems and associated fittings Skilled in the use of fabrication tools (cutting, grinding, bending) Knowledge of materials including carbon steel and stainless steel High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach Reliable, punctual, and hardworkingWhat's in it for you?
