Interaction Engineering \n\nExperienced Welder Fabricator (5+ Years) – Client Requirement\n\nPeterborough\n\nClient Overview:\n\nOur client, a leading provider of custom fabrication solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Welder Fabricator with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in welding and fabrication. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and experienced professional ready to take on challenging projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-quality fabrication projects and play a key role in the production process.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPerform welding and metal fabrication tasks across various materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum\n\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications for precise fabrication\n\nEnsure welds and fabrications meet safety standards and quality control expectations\n\nOperate and maintain welding machinery and fabrication tools, including MIG, TIG, Stick, and plasma cutters\n\nInspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet strength and durability requirements\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues efficiently\n\nMaintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace\n\nCollaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines\n\nSkills & Qualifications:\n\nA minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication\n\nProficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding\n\nStrong knowledge of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes\n\nExperience with metalworking machinery such as grinders, plasma cutters, and saws\n\nAbility to work independently as well as in a team\n\nHigh attention to detail with a commitment to producing top-quality work\n\nStrong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills\n\nCertification in welding ( but not essential)\n\nSafety -conscious with knowledge of welding/fabrication safety standards\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary, commensurate with experience\n\nFull-time position with opportunities for career progression\n\nA supportive and collaborative work environment\n\nHealth and retirement benefits package
