Job Profile for Welder / Fabricator 46203Location: Alness, Scottish HighlandsSalary: Up to £18.50 per hourHours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:00 (45 hours per week)OverviewWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator / Welder on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing business.This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing workshop environment, working on a variety of fabrication projects and producing high-quality components.Key Responsibilities? Fabrication of metal components from engineering drawings? MIG and/or TIG welding to a high standard? Cutting, bending, and assembling materials? Working with a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium? Ensuring all work meets required quality standards? Carrying out basic inspections of completed work? Maintaining a safe and organised working environment? Working independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlinesRequirements? Proven experience as a Fabricator / Welder? Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings? Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding? Strong attention to detail and quality? Good understanding of health & safety within a workshop environment? Reliable and able to meet deadlinesDesirable? Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications? Experience using workshop machinery (press brake, guillotine, etc.)? Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environmentBenefits? Competitive hourly rate up to £18.50?
