We are hiring for a Welder

We are hiring for a Welder to undertake welding and fabrication duties in Telford. This is a well-established manufacturing environment with a strong team culture, and you will be an important part of the production team helping to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high quality standard.

Duties of a Welder

You will be working as part of the Engineering / Manufacturing team and will be responsible for:

- Carrying out welding duties to a high standard

- Reading and working from engineering drawings

- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety requirements

- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Skills and Experience of a Welder

As a Welder, you need to have experience with:

- Previous welding experience

- Working accurately to drawings and specifications

It would be beneficial to the Welder role if you also had:

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal English

- Access to reliable transport (site accessible via car)

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail

- A reliable and flexible approach to work

Shift Allowance (Night Shift)

- Night shifts available on a 4 on / 4 off pattern

- Premium rate of 1.3x after 22:00 PM

- This equates to two hours of free pay per night

About the Client

Our client is a manufacturing business based in Telford that is looking for a Welder to join their team on a temp/Perm basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. The site offers facilities such as free car parking and welfare amenities.
