You will be responsible for cutting, joining, and assembling metal components using a range of welding techniques. Working with both manual and semi automatic equipment, you'll ensure assemblies are produced accurately, safely, and efficiently.
Key tasks include: Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and measurements Selecting the correct welding method and equipment for each job Setting up and aligning components for welding Performing MIG/TIG welding on a variety of metals Cutting materials using powered saws to match specifications Maintaining equipment to ensure safe operation Following production schedules and Work to Lists Completing internal Work Orders accurately via the company ERP system Supporting general production activities when required Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area This list is not exhau...
