The successful candidate will play a key role in the production of high‑integrity process piping, working to exacting quality standards across pipe sizes ranging from ¾" to 9" OD, in full compliance with project specifications and applicable welding codes.
Key Responsibilities

Perform GTAW (TIG) welding on duplex stainless steels and Inconel‑clad carbon steel in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
Fabricate and weld pipe spools (¾"–9" OD) to tight tolerances, ensuring correct alignment, sound root fusion, and full weld penetration.

Adhere to internal fabrication procedures, safety requirements, and strict material traceability controls.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, welding inspectors, and QA personnel to maintain production schedules and quality objectives.

Candidate Profile

Proven hands-on experience in GTAW welding of duplex stainless steel and Inconel overlay/clad materials, ideally on pipe spools and pressure‑retaining components.
Valid, in‑date welder qualifications to ASME IX or EN ISO 9606 (or the ability and willingness to complete approval testing).
Strong technical understanding of heat input control, ferrite balance in duplex materials, and correct handling of nickel alloys.
Ability to confidently read and follow technical drawings, WPS documents, and fabrication data sheets.
Demonstrated commitment to producing welds suitable for stringent inspection and NDE requirements.
Effective communicator with the ability to work within a team‑based fabrication environment.
Safety‑focused, with a disciplined approach to housekeeping and maintaining a clean, controlled work area.
