Welder required! About the Role We are seeking a reliable and skilled Welder to join the team in a production and finishing role. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and ensuring products are completed to a high standard before dispatch.
This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Carry out MIG/TIG welding on a range of materials
Read and interpret basic technical drawings where required
Inspect welded products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Safely operate welding equipment, hand tools and power tools
Work to production schedules and meet daily targets
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow
Complete quality checks and production documentation
Adhere to all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience Previous welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred)
Experience in manufacturing or fabrication is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good hand–eye coordination and confidence using tools and welding equipment
Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
Reliable, punctual and a team player
Own transport required due to location and working hours
Pay Rate £13.71 – £14.50 per hour
