Welding and Fabrication Supervisor

An established and reputable fabrication business specialising in wear protection and lining solutions is seeking an experienced Welding and Fabrication Supervisor to join its growing team. This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone with strong welding experience who enjoys leading by example on the shop floor.
The Role of a Welding and Fabrication Supervisor:
Supervise and coordinate daily fabrication and welding operations

Lead, motivate, and support a team of fabricators and welders

Carry out hands-on fabrication and welding work as required

Ensure all work meets quality standards, specifications, and deadlines

Promote and maintain high standards of health & safety at all times

Liaise with management to plan workloads and improve efficiency

Essential Skills & Experience of a Welding and Fabrication Supervisor:
Strong, proven experience in MIG and MAG welding

Solid background in fabrication within an industrial or heavy engineering environment

Experience supervising or mentoring others

Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings

Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Desirable (but not essential):
Experience in hard facing / hard face welding

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:45pm

Friday: 6:00am – 1:00pm
