Welding Operative (Production)
Devizes, Wiltshire
£35,000 - £38,000 (including shift allowance)
39 hours per week | Rotating Shifts
We are currently recruiting for a Welding Operative to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business supplying industries such as aerospace, automotive and power .
This is a hands-on production role, working within a welding department producing high-quality components to required standards.
The Role
Operate manual and semi-automatic welding machines (TIG/GTAW)
Produce parts in line with production targets and quality standards
Carry out visual inspection of welds to ensure quality requirements are met
Follow work instructions, drawings and specifications
Complete all production and quality documentation
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient production flow
What We're Looking For
Previous welding or manufacturing/production experience
Experience with TIG welding (GTAW) is beneficial but full training can be provided
Good attention to detail and quality standards
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
Hours
Initial training on day shift (Mon-Fri)
Then rotating shifts:Earlies:
Mon-Thurs: 06:00 - 14:30
Fri: 06:00 - 11:00Lates:
Mon-Thurs: 14:30 - 23:00
Fri: 11:00 - 16:00
