Morson Talent are working on behalf of a major player within the Energy Sector who have a current requirement for experienced Welding Superintendents (x2) to join their client’s established site-based team in Somerset. These are (renewable) contract position – inside IR35.
Joint Design Office
The Joint Design Office (JDO) has been created to reinforce site-based engineering to quickly respond to engineering queries/problems coming from site construction to deliver the schedule and to deliver an increased scope of work. By being located close to the construction works the JDO team are able to react and provide technical solutions/answers quickly - crucially assisting construction teams and saving time. Welding Superintendents will work within the Joint Design Office (JDO) Technical Branch* and interface with Inspection and Testing teams and the Project Delivery Managers of the 6 programmes on matters of welding and welded erection. **The JDO Technical Branch sits within the client part of the JDO and is part of the Technical Directorate, which works closely with other teams on site as well as off site in preparation for onsite activities.
