Our client, a well-established engineering and fabrication business based in Corby, is seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to join their growing team. This hands-on leadership position involves overseeing day-to-day welding operations, maintaining high-quality output, ensuring safe working practices, and supporting an efficient workflow across the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of welders and fabricators Allocate work, manage priorities, and ensure production targets are met Conduct weld inspections and quality checks Support training, skill development, and performance management Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture Assist with planning, technical problem-solving, and process improvements Ensure compliance with weld procedures, documentation, and relevant standards Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Welding Supervisor or Senior Welder/Fabricator Strong background in MIG Weelding Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Understanding of welding codes, standards, and quality requirements Confident communicator with strong leadership abilities Solid knowledge of workshop health and safety procedures Welding qualifications or codings are advantageous What’s on Offer
