We are expanding our team of Welsh‑speaking staff to support a wide range of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil and Caerphilly.

✅ Welsh‑speaking Teaching Assistants (qualified & unqualified)
✅ Welsh‑medium Teachers (Primary & Secondary)
✅ Cover Supervisors
✅ SEN / ALN Support Staff

Contracts: Full‑time, Part‑time & Flexible
Pay: Competitive, depending on role & experience

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your role, your day may include:

Supporting pupils’ learning through Welsh across the curriculum
Assisting teachers in delivering fun, engaging lessons
Leading classes as a Cover Supervisor or Welsh‑medium Teacher
Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs
Creating a positive, Welsh‑rich classroom environment
Working closely with teachers, ALNCo’s and support staff

Who We’re Looking For

We want individuals who are:

✅ Fluent Welsh speakers (spoken & written)
✅ Passionate about Welsh‑medium education
✅ Reliable, enthusiastic and flexible
✅ Confident working with children
✅ Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
✅ Teachers (QTS), TAs or those ready to start their first school role

No school experience?
No problem — we offer full training and support.

✅ Requirements (Support Provided Where Needed)

EWC Registration
Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred)
Two recent references
UK Right to Work
Full driving licence (advantageous but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
