Job Description
At Press Coffee we pride ourselves on sourcing and roasting great coffee with superior customer service.
We have a vacancy for a coffee or sales professional to take over our wholesale lead, the role initially requires new sales into local, London and Uk coffee sites.
We would also like expand the role into building online revenue and raising brand awareness through social media and events. You will be primarily office based in south London with flexibility to work remotely and in the field, reporting to the Operations Director and Head of Coffee.
The ideal candidate must have a passion for speciality coffee along with great knowledge of the sector, the role would suit existing account managers looking for a new challenge or coffee professionals looking for the next step in the industry.
There are a variety of skills required,
Interpersonal sales skills.
Cultivating existing relationships with upselling and coffee training.
Hosting clients and cupping/tastings.
Barista and training skills.
Knowledge of Espresso machines and grinders, including basic maintenance.
Ability to be a self started and generate cold leads.
Working on CRM in Notion and Google Drive.
Keeping up with industry trends.
Thinking outside the box to develop new sales opportunities.
Whilst we wouldn't expect someone to have all of these skills, the right candidate would be need to be strong in most, and willing to learn in others. Salary is dependant on experience with commission options also considered after a probation period.
The role is full time Monday to Friady 8am -5pm and may include working at events including some weekends.
Free coffee is a given in this role with expenses paid and 28 days holiday per year.
Salary is banded between £34000 - £38000 dependant on experience.
