I’m currently working with a leading global financial services organisation looking to bring on a talented Windows Engineer to join their Distributed Compute / Infrastructure team.

The Opportunity

You’ll be part of a critical infrastructure function responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of server platforms across multiple business lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, optimise, and secure Windows server environments
• Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, and DevOps tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues proactively
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards
• Drive continuous improvement through emerging technologies

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Windows Server (enterprise environments)
• Hands-on with Ansible, Jenkins, and DevOps pipelines
• Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Experience with VMware & container platforms (e.g., OpenShift)
• Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, security)
• API integration experience (MuleSoft, Postman)
