Job Description Workday Financials Solution Architect – London (Contract or Permanent)

We are working with a global financial services organisation that operates across multiple international markets and runs highly complex, multi-entity finance operations. The business places a strong emphasis on technology, data, and precision, with Workday at the centre of its finance and transformation strategy. They are looking for an experienced Workday Financials Solution Architect to take ownership of the end-to-end design and governance of Workday Financial Management solutions within a sophisticated, regulated environment.

The Role

\n Lead the solution architecture and design of Workday Financials across a global organisation

\n

Act as the senior Financials authority across implementation, enhancement, or optimisation programmes

\n

Partner closely with senior Finance stakeholders to translate business and regulatory requirements into robust Workday solutions

\n

Provide architectural oversight across core modules including GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Assets, Banking and (where applicable) Accounting Center

\n

Govern integrations, data migration, reconciliation, and Financials reporting

\n

Influence standards, best practice, and the long-term Workday Financials roadmap

\n

What They’re Looking For

\n Strong hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management \n

\n

Proven experience at Solution Architect / Lead Consultant level

\n

Deep understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and controls

\n

Experience in complex, multi-entity, multi-currency environments

\n

Ability to engage credibly with senior Finance and Transformation leaders

\n

Nice to have:

\n Accounting Center, Revenue Management, Prism, or Adaptive Planning exposure

\n

Financial services or other regulated industry experience

\n

Workday Financials certifications

\n
