Workshop Assistant – Aged Brass Handler

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Workshop Assistant to join our team. This role involves working with brass materials, including dipping and polishing to achieve an aged finish. It is a hands-on, physically demanding position that requires accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.

Key Duties:

* Prepare and treat brass items to create an aged appearance

* Carry out dipping, polishing, and general handling of materials

* Ensure all work meets quality standards

* Keep the workspace clean, organised, and safe

What We’re Looking For:

* Previous experience in a workshop, warehouse, or similar environment is an advantage

* Ability to lift and move heavy items when required

* Good understanding of safe materials handling practices

* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

* Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively

Working Hours:

* Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26,000 per year
