Salary: £33,000 to £36,000

About the role

We’re supporting a growing technical business as they establish a new workshop and warehouse operation in Daventry. This is a varied, hands-on role for someone practical and technically minded who enjoys working across workshop, equipment and warehouse environments.

You’ll play a key part in setting up and maintaining workshop operations, helping relocate and install machinery while supporting day-to-day technical and logistical activity.

This role would suit someone who enjoys problem solving, working with tools and machinery, and being part of a small team building something from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

* Assisting with workshop setup and machinery installation

* Electrical work and equipment maintenance

* General workshop and fabrication tasks (welding desirable but not essential)

* Supporting warehouse organisation and stock handling

* Operating forklifts and assisting with equipment movement

* Maintaining tools, equipment and safe working practices

What we’re looking for

* Practical electrical experience (essential)

* Comfortable working in a hands-on workshop environment

* Welding or fabrication experience desirable

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diragrams or schematics
