This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands‑on engineering experience who thrives in a collaborative workshop environment and is eager to contribute to innovative projects.Key DutiesConfidently remove and install mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Fault find and repair low‑voltage PLC‑based control and safety systems.Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems.Assist with loading, unloading, and deliveries to site as a second person.Wash, strip, prepare, paint, and reassemble equipment.Maintain a clean and organised workshop, yard, and building.Support general building maintenance tasks.Collaborate with the stores person to organise stock and parts.HoursMonday to Friday, 8:00 – 17:00 (40 hours)What We Need From YouA valid UK driving licence.Proven engineering experience across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Practical knowledge of PLC control systems.A hands‑on, proactive approach to workshop tasks.Willingness to travel to site using a pool vehicle when required.Must be commutable to Waltham Abbey.What We OfferHolidays and Birthday Leave – Start with 23 days, increasing to 25 after 2 years of service, plus bank holidays.
