Job Description
TIG Welder – Playground Equipment Manufacturing*\nDuncan & Grove is a leading manufacturer of award-winning natural playground equipment*, supplying architects, local authorities, and developers across the UK, North America, and worldwide. We pride ourselves on exceptional craftsmanship, durable materials, and innovative design. With over 13 years of experience, we continue to set the standard for quality and customer care in the industry.
\nWe are seeking a skilled TIG Welder who can also Mig weld* to join our growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will work on fabricating high-quality steel components for playground structures, ensuring precision, safety, and durability in every project. \nCarry out TIG welding* on stainless and mild steel components.
\n Work to tight tolerances with a focus on quality and safety standards (BS EN 1176, ASTM, CSA)*. \n* Maintain equipment and ensure a safe and organised workshop environment. \n* Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production staff.
\nProven experience as a TIG welder* in a manufacturing or fabrication setting. \n* Competence in reading technical drawings and using fabrication tools. \n* Awareness of health & safety in a workshop environment.
