We are working with an established manufacturer in Littleborough who are looking for a Workshop Operative

The Job

* Accurately assembling door frames and door sets according to technical drawings and

* specifications.

* Inspecting finished products for accuracy, compliance with standards (e.g., fire safety), and overall

* quality.

* Preparing finished doors for storage or dispatch, which may involve wrapping Scanned all packed orders prior to shipping and shipped them on time.

* Compared and matched all product numbers and order descriptions efficiently.

About you

* Basic mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance

* Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.

* Experience with power tools including drills, saws, or grinders is advantageous

* Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

* Good customer service skills – ability to deal with customers in a professional manner

* Team player with a can-do flexible attitude

* Confidence to work on your own using your initiative to get jobs done
