Our client is looking to recruit aWorkshop Supervisor for their vehicle workshop; Purpose of the Role Responsible for all operational aspects of the Local Authoritys fleet maintenance function. The postholder will ensure the effective delivery of the fleet maintenance programme within approved budgets, to agreed timescales, and in full compliance with relevant legislation, safety standards and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Operational Management Undertake and supervise the servicing and repair of vehicles, plant and associated equipment to a high standard, ensuring cost-effectiveness and minimal vehicle downtime.

Act as Authorised Examiner Delegated Manager , managing and preparing vehicles for MOT and HGV testing in line with statutory requirements.

Lead and manage all aspects of the municipal fleet maintenance function, including maintenance planning, quality control, equipment maintenance and staff training.

Ensure fleet operations comply with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including goods vehicle operator licensing requirements.
