Thrive Oldham are recruiting on behalf of our well established client in the Automotive industry a Workshop Technician in the Oldham Area
A rare opportunity in this well established family business has arisen for a Vehicle technician to join our friendly team in our modern well equipped workshop. Our showroom specialises in high end and prestige cars with a personal touch when it comes to sales and staffing.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the motor trade with any experience in high end vehicles being distinct benefit, furthermore the candidate should be both familiar and competent with working on complex modern vehicle electrical systems and technologies. MOT tester preferred.
Expectations of the role:
- Conduct accurate and thorough vehicle inspections on prestige and complex vehicles.
- Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment and technical expertise.
- Carry out precise mechanical and electrical repairs to the highest manufacturer standards.
- Ensure that work is completed efficiently and in line with customer expectations and dealership standards
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Able to work well in a team.
Full clean UK driving license required
It's important to have experience working with our stock profile: Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, Volvo, VW + more.
Full Time permanent
Position: Workshop Technician
Salary: £35k - £45k subject to experience plus performance Bonus structure.
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 to 17:30 with every third Saturday 8:30 to 12:30
Holiday entitlement: 28 days
