Exciting Opportunity: Year 6 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Year 6 team from June until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension into September. This fantastic opportunity is being offered through Teaching Personnel.
This is a rewarding role where you will make a real impact, supporting a pupil through their final year of primary school, helping them grow in confidence, independence and academic success ahead of secondary transition.
Role highlights:
Full-time position within a welcoming Year 6 classroom
1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs
Collaboration with an experienced class teacher and SEND team
Support with SATs preparation and end-of-year progression
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting children in KS2 (ideally Year 6)
Brings patience, positivity and resilience
Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Is committed to helping every child achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
