Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions, are recruiting for a Factory Operative on behalf of our client based in Studley, Calne. **Immediate Start Available** Pay & Benefits: £12.30 per hour Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 1600pm Weekly pay 28 days paid annual leave Online payslips Pension contributions Ongoing support & opportunities for permanent work The Role: Operate sawmill machinery safely and efficiently Load, position, and secure timber onto cutting equipment Measure, mark, and cut timber to required sizes and specifications Monitor machine performance and report faults or defects Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning Sort, stack, and store cut timber correctly Inspect timber for defects, damage, or quality issues Follow health and safety procedures, including use of PPE Maintain a clean and organised work area Assist with manual handling and movement of materials Record production data and complete basic documentation Work collaboratively with su...
