Academics are currently supporting a partnership primary school (located in Stoke-on-Trent) that are now looking for an experienced Year 1 Teacher for the summer term (April 2026-July 2026).

Our client school offers a wide-ranging (but balanced) curriculum and they aim for their students to become self-confident, independent learners. Their mission is to deliver first-class education for every learner and they are a school that is known as a beacon within their local community.

To be considered for this particular teaching role you MUST:

• Have UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Be able to hold full class responsibilities and to be able to plan and deliver engaging lesson.
• Be experienced and have strong behaviour management skills.
• Promote happiness, self-reliance and to be able to encourage and motivate positive interactions.
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
