Are you an inspiring, committed and nurturing Primary Teacher looking for a long-term role where you can genuinely make an impact?

We are working with a well-established and highly regarded primary setting in the WF9 area that is seeking an experienced Year One Teacher to join their team immediately after the Easter holidays, on a full-time basis, until at least the end of the academic year, and very likely beyond, with potential of permanent contract.

The Role

As the Year 1 class teacher, you will:

• Take full responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality learning in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Create a nurturing classroom that supports the transition from EYFS into more structured learning
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
• Contribute proactively to the wider life of the school
• Work closely with support staff to ensure all pupils - including those with additional needs - receive a high level of teaching and pastoral care

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS - essential)
• Strong experience teaching within KS1 (ideally in Year 1)
