Academics in Leeds are recruiting a year 2 teacher for one of our schools based in North Leeds- the position will be commencing after May half term, until Christmas 2026 with a possibility for an extension into 2027.
Enthusiastic and motivated ECT's will also be considered for this year 2 teacher position.
The school is looking for a dedicated year 2 teacher with key stage 1 experience.
This school has a very supportive SLT and regular provide CPD for all staff.If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.
The ideal year 2 teacher will have the ability to engage pupils with differentiated and creative lessons to suit all abilities.
To apply for this year 2 teacher post you will have the following:
- Educated to degree level and QTS
- DBS on the update service
- A high passion for teaching and working with children who have excellent expectations for attainment and behaviour
- Self-motivated and determined to do well
- Year 2 experience
- Secure understanding of differentiation to challenge children of all abilities
