We’re recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled KS1 practitioner to support pupils at a crucial stage in their development.

The Role – Year 2 Teacher

You will take full responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging lessons that support pupils in consolidating key skills in preparation for Key Stage 2. You will create a structured and nurturing classroom environment where all learners can succeed.

What we are looking for:

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2

*

Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management

*

Have a good understanding of phonics and KS1 assessment

*

Plan creative and differentiated lessons

*

Use assessment effectively to track and support progress

*

Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
