An Ofsted-rated Outstanding mainstream primary school in Birmingham is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within a highly supportive school that is recognised for its excellent standards, strong leadership, and positive learning environment.

The Role:

Take responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching in line with national curriculum expectations
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, using assessment data to inform planning and support achievement
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning and personal development
Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Contribute to wider school life and uphold the values and ethos of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable but not essential)
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a clear understanding of the primary curriculum
Be confident in classroom and behaviour management
Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and improving pupil outcomes
Be a reflective practitioner who works well as part of a team
Show commitment to maintaining the high standards expected within an Outstanding school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
