Year 3 Teacher - Sittingbourne

Simply Education are working with a friendly primary school in Sittingbourne who are looking for a Year 3 Teacher to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a committed teacher who enjoys working in Key Stage 2 and is confident leading a class.

The school are looking for someone who can provide consistency for the pupils and become part of the wider school team. The role will include full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking and attending parents' evenings.

The Role

You will be responsible for teaching a Year 3 class and delivering engaging lessons that support pupils' progress across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. The school are keen to find someone with strong behaviour management who can create a structured, positive learning environment and support pupils to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

• Marking and assessing pupils' work

• Maintaining strong behaviour management and clear classroom expectations

• Monitoring pupil progress and adapting lessons where needed

• Attending parents' evenings and communicating with families

• Working closely with colleagues and support staff to support pupil development

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• An Enhanced DBS on the xbpsjku Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

• A reliable and proactive approach
